I noticed something with US mail.

Because they're no longer postmarking mail the way they used to, and perhaps because of other handling, mail seems to be slower.

I'm assuming this is to hurt ballots by mail but it's having other consequences.

A legal document that I received yesterday (June 1st) that was postmarked May 22, but according to the document, was created on May 15-- basically took 15 days to arrive to me. It said I had 30 days to reply from the creation of the document. If I mail a reply and it takes the same amount of time for the company to receive it, it'll be close to that 30 day response limitation.

Trump signed a sweeping executive order in March that, in part, ordered the Postal Service to only send mail ballots to voters on lists created and controlled by the federal government.

Canceling elections altogether might be a step too far even for the MAGA crowd, so our fascist government is trying everything it can to ensure that it won’t need to cancel elections to make them moot anyway. (As if voting in this country isn’t already a bad joke.)
