If you want to get a specific post mark, you have the option to get that done at the counter. But if you're doing that, you probably had the time to think about doing this a different way.
"if a customer wants to ensure that a mailpiece receives a postmark and that the postmark aligns with the date of mailing, the customer may take the mailpiece to a Post Office, station, or branch and request a manual (local) postmark at the retail counter when tendering their mail piece."

There's been a bit of a scare running through the meme-sphere about US postal service post marks.
"It is true that the USPS updated its DMM regarding postmarks, but officials stressed it didn't change any existing postmarking practices."
The important thing is if you're concerned about this for purposes of avoiding mail-in ballot f-ery, do yourself a favor and simply use your precinct's drop-box.

When the news about the decline of letters is all you ever hear, it is nice to be a part of a global community committed to keeping it alive.
#trump is going to claim to be a protector of free and fair elections.
Yes, oil. But when attacked about this, the line will be βif you donβt support this, then you donβt support free and fair electionsβ.
( #jacksmith just said that Trump tried to subvert 2020 US election.)
This will provide cover for the erosion of election integrity in the #unitedstates (the #usps postmark date change thing has been making the rounds, for ex.), as Trump claims he is election protector.

Stop mentioning shouting. It's time to bring out The Big Stick.
