Cube Charging is het meest slechtste bedrijf qua communicatie dat ik ken, komt nooit afspraken na en qua functionaliteit niet leveren wat ze beloofd hebben. Ik raad iedereen met klem aan om niet met dit bedrijf in zee te gaan!
Blijkt na aanmelden voor ERE’s dat er ook nog niet eens een MID meter in zit. 🤪

Don't be tempted to use ESP32-C3 SuperMini modules. I found out too late that the WLAN PCB antenna is utterly mince on some very cheap copies.
Out of 5x modules, not one would reliably broadcast a visible AP, nor connect.
Even this promising antenna hack only got one on the network... intermittently. 😞

@yixn_io I'm defensive about #homeassistant and I don't like this loaded paragraph: And yet, the built-in Assist voice agent is still limited to simple intent matching. Say "turn on the kitchen light" and it works. Say "when I leave for work, turn off everything except the fridge camera and set the thermostat to eco" and it falls apart.
It's not designed to do that. It's not falling apart, it's doing what it is supposed to do. Blog author may want it to do something else, but don't throw shade.

Is there any way to find out *why* a light turned itself on at 3 o'clock this morning?
I can see it happening in the Activity Log - but it doesn't say what caused it.
(Generic #ZigBee lights attached to a Hue Hub, if that makes a difference.)
I have a probably too-complex setup to charge my #EcoFlow battery when power generation is below an average fossil fuel percentage.
I also have a 3D printer that draws more power than I'd like while heating, so my goal is to run it entirely off the battery so as to not disrupt anything else on the circuit. If you give the EcoFlow AC power, it will charge at the load + charge limit. You can't just tell it to charge at X watts no matter what.
Well, it seems like the charging automations are triggering while printing (which is not supposed to happen), which tells the EcoFlow integration to reload, which shuts off the AC ports. The EcoFlow integration runs off of Bluetooth and I've had some reliability issues in the past. Guess I can't just reload it all the time.
Thus, failed print attempts. Meh.
