It’s my mom’s birthday and I can’t even go celebrate it. Started feeling dizzy & weak while shopping. I think it’s the caffeinated coffee and soda that I’m not used to anymore. Bryan as her honorary son took my car and is meeting them at Applebee’s. At least I sent her a gift card for that same restaurant earlier today as it’s one of her favorites.

Of course I had an IBS episode today. I need to get a referral to a specialist but doing so always takes several months to be seen. I’m so tired of this body for many reasons and this is no exception.

IBS hit me hard today. I wonder how many Americans wouldn’t have irritable bowel syndrome if our food wasn’t garbage. I’m sure this country has the most people diagnosed with IBS.

LJSpent 3 days being incredibly social at a local music fest & today saw a friend visiting from out of town. It was all great & really fun. But now I'm sitting on the sofa in the dark feeling unsettled, deeply sad, & overwhelmed.

Haven’t been able to sleep well the last two weeks. Last night was terrible and I ended up waking up and getting out of bed at around 6am.
My script for a sleep aid wasn’t ready so I decided to take my own medication. Rye cocktails.
I already made an EXCEPTIONAL maple rye cocktail. Now I have a sweet Manhattan. Hopefully I’ll sleep well tonight.
