Việc thiết kế cơ sở dữ liệu (CSDL) cho dự án mã nguồn mở cần cân bằng giữa tính minh bạch và bảo mật. Bạn nên:
- Sử dụng CSDL mở (PostgreSQL, MySQL) kết hợp truy cập đọc công khai, đảm bảo dữ liệu không thay đổi
- Giữ cho code mở nhưng CSDL kín nếu dữ liệu nhạy cảm/đòi hỏi bảo trì phức tạp
- Tham khảo nền tảng như GitHub/GitLab để lưu trữ mã nguồn, nhưng lưu ý CSDL phải được quản lý riêng biệt
