Das ist aber kein Ersatz für floating car data (sprich live Verkehrsflussdaten), da gibt es halt ein Monopol, im besten Fall ein Duopol. Man kann seit 2022 immerhin entsprechende Daten von google mit #OpenStreetMap kombinieren https://www.bundeskartellamt.de/DE/DigitalWirtschaft/VerfahrenGegenGrosseDigitalkonzerne/Alphabet_Google/Alphabet_Google_node.html Natürlich nicht kostenlos.

@osrm wasn't the rumour for a long time that mapbox was keeping OSRM alive for "one" customer? As to using #OpenStreetMap data "in China" is the important bit (which is hard to imagine for some rather obvious reasons).

Tja, heute diesen Instagram-Post gesehen. Hier der Hintergrund... 💡 Am 28. März wurde "Betrunkene" als "Suburb" auf Mallorca angelegt, ich habe es am 2. April als "Vandalismus" erkannt und entfernt. Apple Maps hat es wohl dazwischen irgendwann einfach mit importiert. 😀 #OpenStreetMap #OSM

Spotted in the Tesla Model Y owner's manual: OSRM credited right alongside OpenStreetMap.

We were pretty surprised when we first found this. The beer from Tesla never arrived, but the credit is right there in the manual.
