Expanded my #ld52 #ludumdare game. I like the idea but the current implementation is really hard to reason about.
As the dev, I don't really know how to "improve my deck" except to just pick big numbers. Unlike Luck be a landlord, which is easier to understand.
Probably want to rework the engine to try something else next week. Prototyping phase is probably the slowest part of #gameDev

#LD52 results are out, my game came 397th (out of 1144 Jam category entries), it's the first time I broke the top 50% in #ldjam, and the first time I ever felt motivated to work more on a game post jam, even if it is only cosmetic changes so far. So pretty happy overall!

This week is a weird week for me. I participated in #ldjam #ld52 #ludumdare over the weekend and made a Drafting game like Luck Be a Landlord.

This is one of the ideas in my notebook and is one of the candidate for my next project.
Between this and my city builder deck builder, Crop Rotation has less unknown and also a shorter timeline.
So I made the hard decision to pivot to Crop Rotation first.
