Printed almost exactly one year ago, Rooftops of St. Ives is definitely one of my favourite prints.

It is of rooftops, which I love. It is quite abstract. It features lots of natural media mark making. It is in blue, turquoise and yellow. It ticks all the boxes for me!

I need to print more of the edition though. I do have the ink and the paper but it's quite a scary print to make. Quite hard to print.

Editioning is done! Upturned Boats is finished. I think I got about 27 good ones.

Warmer yellow, lighter blue, lighter dark grey. I think it all works well.

Nothing lines up! It was great fun to make and I will take all this learning going foward. This is not the end of me making stencils but just the beginning.

So here's my new On the Waves print, photographed properly. Six colours, hand printed onto Fabriano 5.

It is based on my Pigeon Posted commission illustrations which is why I couldn't show it to you before.

I am doing six new screen prints based on my Pigeon illustrations. They use elements from both sides of the Pigeons and also have new elements so they are not the same as the Pigeons.

This one takes the rocks, seagull and buoy from the reverse as well as the elements from the front.

I have already got the next one ready to go, the Day at the Beach print. It has different elements added.
