#Gadgetbahn! Das Wort fehlte mir schmerzhaft in meinem Wortschatz, wenn ich versucht habe, mir den Irrsinn der #CDU in #Berlin vor Augen zu führen.
Mal eine #Seilbahn hier, mal ein #Magnetschwebebahnersatzverkehr dort, alles, Hauptsache keine #Straßenbahn, die dem #Auto im Weg sein könnte!

Den Begriff der #gadgetbahn mag ich ja eigentlich nicht. Erinnert mich zu sehr an Politik. Und da tauchen die auch gerne auf. Doch eigentlich hat fast jedes System seine Berechtigung, was ich im folgenen Artikel darlegen will. #öpnv #seilbahn #maglev #monorail #magnetbahn

Là ça ressemble surtout à un exemple de #GadgetBahn - dans tous les cas il faut un minimum de maintenance pour rouler sur les rails, surtout sans conducteur! Si c'est pour quelques places je ne vois pas trop l'intérêt par rapport à faire rouler un bus classique sur la route...
@dominicstucki By the way, isn't it ironic that to an outsider, the most obvious way to recognise a route having ETCS, where the point is that there are no lineside signals, is to notice those very easily recognisable (and charming) marker boards. (I want a t-shirt with such a graphic.)
