Il Tempo: Garlasco, a Farwest il delitto tra nuove verità e circo mediatico

Martedì 5 maggio, alle 21.25 su Rai 3, torna Farwest, la trasmissione di Salvo Sottile con un approfondimento sul caso Garlasco che parte dal fenomeno mediatico di uno dei casi giudiziari più discussi degli ultimi vent'anni. Farwest si concentra sulle ultime novità mentre cresce l'attesa per l'interrogatorio di Andrea Sempio del 6 maggio: la Procura delinea il possibile movente, legato al rifiuto di un approccio sessuale. Farwest si concentrerà inoltre sulla denuncia di anomalie della difesa di Alberto Stasi e su una presunta regia capace di orientare il racconto mediatico. Un racconto che mostra come il caso Garlasco si sia consumato non solo nelle aule di giustizia, ma anche sotto i riflettori. FarWest si sposta poi A Milazzo, in Sicilia , ed entra in esclusiva in una delle più grandi raffinerie d'Italia, dove il petrolio diventa carburante. I trasporti sono sempre più cari e rischiosi e con lo stop ai voli di lungo raggio il turismo americano punta sull'Italia.  FarWest racconta poi il Primo maggio di tensione a Torino, dove l'ex centro sociale Askatasuna torna a incendiare le strade. Un gruppo di attivisti tenta l'assalto allo stabile sgomberato a dicembre: volti coperti, pietre negli zaini e un obiettivo chiaro, “riprendersi” lo spazio.

Farwest focuses on the latest developments while anticipation grows for the questioning of Andrea Sempio on May 6th: the Prosecutor outlines the possible motive, linked to the rejection of a sexual approach. Farwest will also focus on the denial of anomalies in the defense of Alberto Stasi and on a supposed direction capable of guiding the media narrative. A narrative that shows how the Garlasco case has unfolded not only in the courts of justice, but also under the spotlight. FarWest then moves to Milazzo, in Sicily, and goes exclusive to one of the largest refineries in Italy, where oil becomes fuel. But with the international crisis and the halt to the Strait of Hormuz, supplies are reduced and prices skyrocket. Italy holds on thanks to the still active plants, but Europe pays for years of closures and today risks being left exposed. And it’s precisely the international situation with the closure of the “Stretto di Trump,” as the US president has renamed Hormuz, that continues to condition the planet’s economy. Transportation is becoming more expensive and risky, and with the halt to long-haul flights, American tourism is turning to Italy. FarWest then recounts the May 1st of tension in Turin, where the former social center Askatasuna returns to set the streets on fire. A group of activists attempts to storm the building cleared in December: covered faces, stones in their backpacks and a clear objective, “to take back” the space.
