8/8. Describe the sensations of one of your characters in the last scene you wrote.

I’m sketching ideas for book III (slowly. It’s been almost a year, I think).

But. I’ve been working on Mr Tract and Arapeen trying to talk about a murder while one of the other miners keeps spouting nonsense about Indians trying to kill them or steal their donkeys.

Tract really wants to beat the miner with a shovel so he can get a straight story from Arapeen.
