I've already picked 3 lbs. of #mulberries this morning. Hoping to do some #canning today. I think I have enough berries now. Gotta clean kitchen first. If not today, then tomorrow! 😅

Texting with my GF in Misery (MO) and they just got their beef and she is rendering tallow today.

I only got a couple cups of white, the black mulberries are on the bottom.

Having a #ThistleBattle when I noticed some red on what I had thought was a crab apple tree. (Before we purchased this property in 2018, someone brush hogged the front pasture & they didn't realize they mowed over 8 #trees. I've been pruning to save these trees ever since.) Well, it's not a crab apple tree! I think it's just a really stunted full size plum! 🤯 They're quite sweet. Glad I saw a thistle nearby or I would have missed the fruit (it was falling off the tree). #EdibleForest #FruitTrees
