New chickens alert!
1 each: coronation Sussex, French black copper moran, and 55 flowery (which is a wild name)
Will be named shortly. Will probably stick with our rough theme of r&b/soul singers, though there's been talk of adding jazz representation...
Adding three new young chickens to our crew this afternoon. Can't remember which types we picked out and my spouse is picking them up -- so it will be a surprise!
Here is the #chicken who just mysteriously disappeared yesterday.
No feathers anywhere around my house or yard; no idea what happened to her.
Just gone.
She was my first blue egg layer, and she would've been five years old today.
I haven't even had time today to mourn her because I've been doing so much stuff for other people. 😭😭😭
Rest easy, Miss Anne Bonny. I will miss you.
Quelqu'un s'y connais en poulettes malades ?
Une de mes rousses est patraque depuis samedi, un peu amorphe, trébuche en marchant, samedi elle a même comme vomit (un liquide brunâtre très fluide)
Je l'aie rentrée au poulailler et elle bougeais peu mais buvais mangeais et pondais. Aujourd'hui elle sors à nouveau et marche mieux mais elle est toujours comme crispée tête rentrée dans les épaules et elle a la crête très pâle.
Est-ce que je peux faire quoi que ce soit pour l'aider à se remettre en forme ?
