Silver Thimble 1682 -1740

In 2020 metal detectorist Robert Edwards found a silver thimble under an oak tree near Carew Castle in Wales. Experts have said it was made between 1682 and 1740 and it has been classified as treasure. It may also have been treasured for its engraved posy "LYKE STIL AND LOVE EVER."
