I brought my cucumber, melon, and zucchini starts home from my dad's greenhouse. The summer garden is about to begin. I'll plant these tomorrow, after today's storms pass.

These starts are much more mature than the ones I planted last year. The cucumber vines already have flowers and fruit!

Ongoing soil remediation project is making slow & steady progress. Cardboard, topsoil, compost, woody debris, crushed seashells, seaweed, grass cuttings, leaf mulch are all breaking down together nicely.

We have a lot of baby #cucumbers growing outside & inside my little greenhouse. I love cucumbers & tomatoes so we grow several of those food plants. No point in growing foods that you don't enjoy eating.
