Honestly, in retrospect, setting up #Arch isn't all that hard for me. I remember when I used to distrohop a lot on my (now) old #Dell laptop when I first got into Linux. I didn't know if that would ever end, but now, as I enter my second year of #college, I've learned that, for me anyways, Arch provides a good balance between #configurability and #simplicity. It hits the sweet spot for me, in other words.

Immutable distros, on the other hand, seem really nice to me. I remember trying Fedora Silverblue in a VM for stuff but I never ended up using it. One of these days, I'll figure out the #immutable stuff and we'll go from there! 😄

Theorists like @aramsinn described this as #configurability - the ability of end-users (aided by tinkerers, SMEs and co-ops) to modify the services they used to suit their own needs:

Arguably the most successful configurability story is #AdBlocking, which @dsearls calls "the biggest boycott in human history." Billions of end-users of the web have twiddled their browsers so that they aren't tracked by #AdTech and don't see ads:
