I wrote a frivolously critical novella with a behavioral biology background and looking for testreaders

Please contact me if you are interested; the text is also available in German and Afrikaans.

Hey, if you like #reading and want a free #book to #read, please consider being a pal to #writers, and stick your hand up to do a free #betaread. The #writingcommunity will love you for it, and shower you with free books before they even get published.

All you have to do to earn that joy, is give the #author feedback on typos or anything that was confusing or messed up the flow. Being a #betareader helps create more and better books

And yes, I have two books ready for a beta read, right now

Hey there #author are you I need of a beta reader who will read your book and give you an honest feedback

#readers #feedback #author #betareader

Addendum. This is so annoying: A person commented on a post I have written about this issue on Tumblr, then asked me "just out of curiosity" what feedback I would wish to get from a beta reader. I answered (in general terms) and then they offered to beta read for me. What part of "I don't need a beta reader" didn't they understand?
These paid beta readers seem to be desperate to get customers, so they'll try anything, I guess.

Are there some authors around here who are part of a #betareader swap, as in - we are betareaders for each other? I have nothing ready to publish yet, but am working on something that will hopefully be ready to share some time this year. So a good time to start gathering some favours with anybody out there looking for someone to help them out and is interested in betareading my work once it's done. ;-)
(The current book I am working on is fantasy, the other more near future utopia)

About me: I've read tons of fantasy, sci-fy and history, both German and English. I also play a lot of Tabletop-Roleplaying-Games for over a decade now, always with a focus on role-playing and satisfying character arcs.

I just love reading and telling a good story.
I will most likely not find you spelling and grammar errors, but I do think I have a good eye for character development, pacing and continuity in a story, since those are things I care about when reading a book.
