Bright I Burn by Molly Aitken
This is one of those books that you just have to read. While it might not be everyone's cup of tea, I loved it. It's up there among my favorites I've read this year. Molly Aitken has a long terrific future ahead of her as a storyteller.
My advice is, if you read a synopsis of the book first, just forget it when you read the book. It creates a false impression of what the book truly is. (Luckily I had forgotten the synopsis.)
