at #fediday @tomate set an impulse at his talk that someone might implement an analogon to #bookwyrm not for books but for #music. he pointed out that the hard part is finding a semantic model that describes releases, titles, albums e.t.c in a consistent way. in case someone wants to do this, there is already the open project https://musicbrainz.org which did exactly that in free and open. https://wiki.musicbrainz.org/MusicBrainz_Database/Schema if you wanna do it, build it on what's already there ;) *nudge*

@jascha talk on #Bookwhyrm was interesting on multiple levels.

Someone asked a question about using/hosting #Bookwyrm for members of libraries. A wonderful thought, which I might want to explore further @publicspaces

There were also some questions about the license which apparently forbids commercial use.

As someone who has extensive experience with Creative Commons licenses including the noncommercial attribute I wonder how this is defined.
