Today we dropped off our completed ballot ✅ for the June 2, 2026 Primary Election at a Monterey County Elections official dropbox, just outside Seaside City Hall, next to Seaside library 📚. Very soon we’ll receive an email from the California Secretary of State's office, on behalf of our county, that our ballot was received and counted.💚 ✅ [Update: That email arrived in LESS THAN 24 HOURS. Tonight, a drag bingo event in #tennessee is raising money for my LGBTQ+ non-profit. I'll be registering people to vote, helping people verify their voter registration status, and helping them know where and when to vote... especially given we have been gerrymandered to the nth degree.

Simultaneously, my non profit is helping to rescue a trans teen (18 year old) who just graduated from high school and whose home has not been safe at all. We're moving him to a safe houseand we're getting him connected to resources, buying food and a phone for him, and helping him with getting employment. This is how I have been fighting back for many years. Every single step we make matters.

Do not vote MODERATE.

Why?

Because moderates are the people who will tell you that unity is more important than accountability and change. They are also the people who will forever tell us they're going to do something, but often don't. Or, if they do, they take forever to do it, dragging their feet, kicking and screaming, claiming change is hard and takes an unreasonable amount of time. It is all a stall tactic for you to accept the overall new awful normal set by the previous corporate sellouts and conservatives.

Look at what MAGA did. They made horrible, sweeping changes, and it took nearly no time at all.

Now look at the New York mayor, a democratic socialist, who delivered real accountability and change in just a few short weeks and months. He didn't just say he was progressive; he proved it.

Do you want a healthier world? Do you want real, tangible change? Do you want honest and true accountability and justice?

Vote progressive. Because moderates will just keep things mostly "as is" and give you excuses. None of this gets better if we don't break the cycle.
