Feeling a bit restless, I decided to do some sewing. I had a 50 cm piece of this dotted Kaffe Fassett fabric and when I checked my solid color stash (still a work in progress!), I found that I had a nicely matching color in almost the same size.

About an hour later, I now have a 3 meter long string with 12 flags ready to be used whenever I feel festive!

The door handel on our garden door was not working properly, because the metal was corroded on the inside. I really do not enjoy buying new bits, so i was happy when i found this lovely box of old handels in our workshop, and managed to cut one of them to fit perfectly! I then sanded it and painted it to match the door, and I must say I am quit pleased with the result 😊💃🏼🔨🪚✨

A little over a year ago I followed a short evening course on "Getting to know your sewing machine". Combine this with a bad bout of the flu and endless YT time watching videos of Kate at The Last Homely House and you find me cutting up an old unused towel to make some new cleaning cloths.
