I had a quiet evening with time to sew, so I made another tote, lined with yellow solid fabric. For now I keep my stash of wool in it, but I will probably use this bag for groceries.

Sewing this tote and one other project bag takes me a few hours: slowly I can sit behind my sewing machine for longer periods of time, but I still end up feeling my right shoulder stiffen quicker than I would before it froze up on me those months ago.

Net uit pure frustratie een nieuwe Hema kussensloop uit elkaar getrokken langs de naden. Het lukte me maar niet om deze netjes recht te strijken en ja, toen ik de lap van ongeveer 50*160 cm uitvouwde, zag je dat de naden aan een kant diagonaler waren gestikt dan aan de andere kant.

Niet helemaal dw bedoeling, maar ach, de stof wordt altijd wel herbuikt!

Created another three bags yesterdays from (partial) scraps: one for myself, one for my young niece, and one just for fun.

I enjoy making these, because my frozen shoulder does not yet allow me to sit behind the sewing machine for longer periods.

Looking at the patterns, I think a 13x13 cm cut square can work, although this feels a bit like fussy cutting.
However 13x13 cm (approx 12x12 cm when sewn) will give the patterns a chance to shine, especially when I combine them in the relatively simple St Louis 16 block.
