Found the tip to use vintage belt buckles from the 40s and 50s as a variation to tie a scarf.

As I tend to inherit, collect and hoard haberdashery, I luckily found some (mostly 60s, but still vintage) in my hobby room.

I'm quite happy with the result, might use this way to style my scarfs with a slide more frequently in the future.

Bad thing just is I now have a reason to hunt for even more haberdashery.

I also found a folding bookcase, something I've been searching for for a while. One of the brackets to hold a shelf up was missing, with a screw in its place. In my mixed hardware bin I found a similar bracket normally used for mounting curtain rods. I cut a piece off the bracket to make it more suitable for this new purpose and it works a treat. Now the bookcase is renewed and sturdy. #reuse #renew #repurpose #vintage

Found an extremely poorly reupholstered little bench for $2.10. I only care about it's bones because I plan to cover it with leather. Perfect for putting on and taking off boots by the front door. :) #reuse #repurpose #recycle #LeathetCraft

Oh, and you see those ribbons that neatly tie the rolls closed? They are repurposed from the wrapping around the blankets I bought. I cut each ribbon in half and had enough to do all of them. #Reuse #Repurpose ♻️

I used to keep my cutting dies in the second drawer of this little tool chest but the drawers don't open all the way, the dies get mixed up and it's often hard to find the die I am looking for. I found this drawer at a charity shop for 75 cents. It's designed to hold Keurig cups but works perfectly for my dies. Today on #TreasureHuntTuesday I found a projector screen for $3.75 so I can view my Roku projector anywhere on my deck and a woven rattan chest with a broken leather latch for $4.80. Now I need to find someone to fix the leather latch. ;) #reuse #repurpose #recycle
