Feeling a bit restless, I decided to do some sewing. I had a 50 cm piece of this dotted Kaffe Fassett fabric and when I checked my solid color stash (still a work in progress!), I found that I had a nicely matching color in almost the same size.

About an hour later, I now have a 3 meter long string with 12 flags ready to be used whenever I feel festive!

In anticipation for Halloween, I scoured my house for a few things for a mantle display because we do not buy plastic cr*p for decorations.

A couple of Terry Pratchett books, a little owl a black cat, a gargoyle, a candle from a visit to Soveregn Hill more than 35 years ago.....
