#UlsterUniversity economists recently conducted detailed analysis of official data & concluded that #NorthernIreland now has the "tightest labour market of any of the 12 UK regions"

In part that is because it has lowest percentage of the economically inactive stating they want to work

That tightness has been exacerbated by the changes in post- #Brexit UK #migration rules which have effectively turned off the flow of lower-paid workers from the #EU

Here’s a #postcard showing #Magee College. This was established in #Derry / #Londonderry in 1865 as a Presbyterian College teaching theology and arts, and has been secular since 1953. Associated over the years with many of Ireland’s universities, in 1969 it became part of the New University of Ulster, which in 1984 became #UlsterUniversity
