Was recently configuring two servers (#almalinux and #ubuntu) and found that some packages would require to use their "community" packages, with some features not fully implemented.
I miss the quick, clean and easy way of defining install instructions of #pkgbuild of #archlinux
I ended up transforming ArchLinux #aur packages to scripts, and running them on both servers 😅
Is there a tool that can read an AUR package and "just install" it on a server, not Arch based?

Il y a quelques mois, je suis passé à #ArchLinux avec #EndeavourOS. Maintenant que #Fedora42 est sorti, j'ai toute une envie de wiper mon laptop personnel ce soir et d'installer ce nouveau #Fedora (distro que j'ai utilisée pendant un peu plus d'un an) ! L'édition KDE n'est plus un « spin », mais une édition « flagship » comme celle avec Gnome.
@archlinux now has an official image for WSL (Windows Subsystem for Linux) and it is officially (re)distributed by Microsoft (and I'm guilty for it)! 🤯

…and it is officially (re)distributed by Microsoft! A few months ago, the eventuality of building and providing an official Arch Linux WSL image (Windows Subsystem for Linux - a Microsoft solution allowing to run Linux environments within Windows) was brought to the table within the Arch Linux staff. This subject was actually explored a few years back but got turned down due to multiple concerns and lack of interest at the time. But WSL have come a long way since then and minds evolved to the point where people were generally willing to reconsider it.

Hehe yep, your eyes do not deceive you. I am indeed using it. Albeit for testing to see how long I can last on it... So far so good. Looks like a keeper on this laptop.
