Vittime confermate”, ha dichiarato l’università in un aggiornamento pubblicato alle 2:03 del mattino, nel quale “prega di continuare a evitare la zona”. Non sono stati effettuati arresti, ha precisato la polizia.

Parigi alza i toni e, per una volta, mette da parte la cautela diplomatica. Dopo la morte di un casco blu francese nel sud del Libano, il presidente Emmanuel Macron indica apertamente una responsabilità: "Tutto lascia pensare" che dietro l'attacco ci sia Hezbollah. Un'accusa netta, ribadita anche nei colloqui con il presidente libanese Joseph Aoun e il premier Nawaf Salam, ai quali è stata chiesta un'indagine rapida. Ma all'Eliseo, più che attendere verifiche, si ragiona già su un quadro ritenuto sufficientemente chiaro.

Secondo la lettura francese, l'attacco non è solo un episodio isolato, ma un messaggio politico preciso: colpire la presenza militare di Parigi per condizionare il ruolo della missione UNIFIL e frenare ogni ipotesi di rafforzamento del suo mandato. Non solo. L'agguato viene interpretato anche come un tentativo di sabotare i delicati equilibri tra Libano e Israele, proprio mentre si muovono i primi passi sul terreno negoziale. Un segnale diretto a una Francia che, da anni, mantiene un ruolo centrale nel Paese dei cedri, sostenendo istituzioni e forze armate locali.

Sul tavolo c'è anche un'ipotesi più ampia, che porta dritto a Iran. All'Eliseo si valuta infatti che dietro l'azione possa esserci quantomeno un incoraggiamento proveniente dall'orbita di Teheran, storicamente legata a Hezbollah e ostile a qualsiasi riavvicinamento tra Libano e Israele. In questo scenario, colpire i militari francesi significherebbe mandare un avvertimento a una potenza europea che prova a giocare una partita autonoma, non completamente allineata agli Stati Uniti ma comunque influente negli equilibri regionali. Il clima si fa ancora più pesante se si guarda alla sequenza degli eventi. In poco più di un mese, due soldati francesi sono stati uccisi in operazioni attribuite a gruppi legati alla stessa galassia filo-iraniana. Un'escalation che a Parigi richiama alla memoria precedenti drammatici come l'Attentato al palazzo Drakkar, quando morirono 58 paracadutisti francesi. Un parallelo che pesa e che rafforza la convinzione, sempre più esplicita, che dietro gli attacchi non ci siano solo milizie locali ma una regia ben più ampia.

At the Élysée Palace, it is being evaluated that the action could at least involve encouragement from the orbit of Tehran, historically linked to Hezbollah and hostile to any rapprochement between Lebanon and Israel. In this scenario, targeting French soldiers would mean sending a warning to a European power that is trying to play an autonomous game, not completely aligned with the United States but still influential in regional balances. The atmosphere becomes even heavier if one looks at the sequence of events. In just over a month, two French soldiers have been killed in operations attributed to groups linked to the same Iranian-backed galaxy. An escalation that in Paris recalls previous dramatic episodes, such as the Drakkar Palace attack, when 58 paratroopers died. A parallel that weighs and reinforces the conviction, increasingly explicit, that behind the attacks there are not only local militias but a much wider direction.

AGI - Blue Origin, la compagnia spaziale del miliardario Jeff Bezos, tenterà oggi per la prima volta di riutilizzare un propulsore del suo razzo gigante New Glenn, in un passo chiave per ridurre i costi e competere con SpaceX di Elon Musk. The rocket has already successfully completed two flights in 2025, while Blue Origin is trying to catch up with its competitor SpaceX, which has been reusing its boosters for years, dominating the commercial launch sector.

If today's attempt is successful, it could represent a turning point for the company, allowing it to cut the costs of future missions. In November, on its second attempt, Blue Origin had managed to land the New Glenn booster on an oceanic platform in the Atlantic, a particularly complex operation for a rocket of these dimensions. The booster used was subsequently refurbished: for this first reuse, all the engines were replaced and some technical modifications were made before the new launch.

A previous test of recovery, in January 2025, had failed due to the failure of the engines to restart during descent. The United States aim to return astronauts to the Moon by 2028, even in a competitive context with China.
