Solution Layering. 🍰 The "Active" layer is the enemy. If you see an "Unmanaged Layer" on top of your Managed Solution in Prod, someone manually tweaked the system. Remove it. Enforce discipline.

Well… you were using Mastodon v3 from over 5 years ago. That’s half a decade ago. That could be a clue. 🤡

Meanwhile, Mastodon 5.2 has a known security issue. It’s not exactly critical (not easy to trigger), but support for it ends next month — January 2026.

May I suggest you upgrade!

The current build is 4.5.3 (the nightly build is 4.6).
