How much #VRAM bandwidth does an application or a game pull? Is the traffic over #PCIe a bottleneck? What's the CPU/GPU load, RAM/VRAM occupation, temps, power draw, clocks? hw-smi works with all CPUs and all #Nvidia/#AMD/#Intel GPUs, on both Windows and #Linux.

As someone who works in marketing, this is one of the cheapest tricks to sell something: "Our product is so good that it is dangerous and we cannot release it to the world". This translates to "Give us a lot of money for limited, exclusive access, sign this NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) so no one finds out it's not that good until we make enough revenue and can claim we made a less dangerous version for all, but the better version with more risks is established as high-price product." ;)

If you were wondering whether the phone you paid hundreds of pounds for is yours, it’s not. It’s still Apple’s and they decide what you can do with it.

That isn’t a tool; it’s a shackle.

And no trillion-dollar corporation is your friend.

(I’m tapping this out on what will likely be my last iPhone. Hopefully the EU will get its act together so people without iPhones and Android phones can still do basic things like banking and paying for stuff with their phones by then.)
