𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻’𝘀 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝘆 𝗪𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗗𝗮𝘆 – 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟭𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲
Today is Women’s Healthy Weight Day, a reminder to embrace your natural body and focus on overall health rather than just the number on the scale. Being healthy means physical, mental, and social well-being — not just weight.
𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲:
- 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀: Avoid extreme calorie counting or starving yourself. Healthy weight comes from balanced nutrition, not deprivation.
- 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆: You don’t need a gym—try walking, dancing, or cycling to stay active.
- 𝗘𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝘂𝗶𝘁𝘀 & 𝘃𝗲𝗴𝗴𝗶𝗲𝘀: Add nutritious and flavorful foods to your meals for better health.
𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘀:
- 51% of young women are unhappy with their bodies.
- Even “ideal weight” people can carry unhealthy fat around the middle.
- Anorexia affected nearly 3 million people worldwide in 2015.
- 86% of teenage girls in 2000 were on or thought they should be on a diet.
