An amazing historic and scenic #railroad running near #MtRainier National Park had a huge setback for future expansion with a trestle burning to the ground. They’re still running their current line and rail cycle adventures but need help sorting out the mess and how they’ll move forward re: cleanup, planning, rebuilding and all the hoops and regulations therein. These folks are so great. They make the best videos.
If you are a #railfan you can appreciate having to tell someone that you won't see any videos of trains splashing through puddles. Well, there is some pretty questionable track but there wouldn't be any "splashing".
That reminded me of having to explain that a lunar eclipse can only occur on a full moon.
The latter point, after a few beers, took longer to get across than you would hope.
