Fun fact: another light rail station was renamed from Broad St. to Military Park when the new line from Newark Penn Station to Newark Broad St. was opened. Today, under the lovely sunset, I visited Newark Broad St. station for the first time. It was a beautiful station with three tracks. It had a certain “homely” quality, with its open air platforms and tower, compared to Newark Penn Station with its 6 tracks and underground mezzanine.
