🇫🇷 Pour sortir de Luxembourg vers le Nord, les trains doivent emprunter plusieurs viaducs dans la vallée de l'Alzette.

Sur la première photo, une rame composée d'une machine série 4000 en tête d'une rame réversible de DoSto emprunte le viaduc en courbe entre la rue de Trèves et la route N1.

Sur la seconde photo, une automotrice Z 2000 qui, à cette époque, étaient encore bien actives sur les trains RB (RegionalBunn) vers Diekirch (Dikrech) notamment, circule sur le viaduc passe en contrebas du plateau du Kirchberg.

🇬🇧 To get out of Luxembourg to the north, the trains have to run on several viaducts in the Alzette valley.

In the first photo, a train composed of a Class 4000 locomotive pulling a set of DoSto carriages is on the curved viaduct between "rue de Trèves" and N1 road.

On the second one, a Z 2000 EMU, which were then very present on local services (RegionalBunn) to Diekirch (Dikrech) among others, is seen on the viaduct at the feet of the Kirchberg plateau.

🇫🇷 Juste après le pont sur le canal de Willebroek se trouve une gare particulière : la halte royale de Laeken. Située le long de la ligne Bruxelles-Nord - Jette - Denderleeuw. Elle est située dans le domaine royal et semble bien mal en point... A la fin du XIXe siècle il avait même été étudié la possibilité de créer un raccordement souterrain à travers le parc royal pour rejoindre le palais royal.

🇬🇧 Just after the bridge over the Willebroek canal there is a special railway station: the royal railway station of Laeken. Located along the Brussels-North - Jette - Denderleeuw railway, it is located in the royal domain and seems in very bad shape... At the end of the 19th century the possibility of creating an underground connection through the royal park to reach the royal palace was even studied.
