🇫🇷 Les automotrices Z 2N NG des CFL (Série 2200) subissent actuellement une modernisation extérieure et intérieure et les rames en version d'origine deviennent par conséquent de plus en plus rares. La 2218 en tête d'un très long convoi de trois automotrices dont les deux autres sont modernisées (les 2201 et 2209) partira bientôt comme TER 88739 vers Metz-Ville. Luxembourg-Ville cet après-midi.

🇬🇧 CFL EMUs Class 2200 (Z 2N NG) are undergoing a deep interior refurbishing and get a new livery. The consequence is that the units in original version are disappearing with the time. The 2218 is one of the unit in original outfit and in company of the 2201 and 2209, it will work the 14:39 TER (88739) from Luxembourg to Metz-Ville. Photo taken this afternoon.

La ligne était fermée suite à des travaux, on peut voir les signaux d'arrêt mobiles placés au centre des voies.

Que de rouge à cette époque, heureusement, une locomotive en livrée beige/Bleu océan est venue confirmer la règle!

1. Deux autorails "Talent" de l'EuregioBahn (produit local de l'usine Talbot) en route vers Heerlen aux Pays-Bas tous proches. Auourd'hui, les relations avec les Pays-Bas sont assurés par les rames Flirt d'Arriva NL dans le cadre de la relation dite "trains des trois pays" puisqu'en théorie ils relient chaque heure Aachen à Liège en passant par Heerlen et Maastricht. J'écris en théorie car en pratique, c'est une autre affaire! Il arrive fréquemment que le service soit coupé en deux parties ou alors remplacé par bus...

2. Une rame ET 425 assure un train RB (omnibus) en provenance de Mönchengladbach et arrivera bientôt à la gare principale d'Aachen, son terminus.

3. Une rame tractée par une vénérable BR 110 de la DB avec des voitures Silberlinge, le train régional par excellence au début des années 2000 encore. Aujourd'hui, ce sont des rames Desiro HC de NationalExpress qui circulent sur la relation régionale expresse entre Aachen et Dortmund via Mönchengladbach et Düsseldorf.

4. Un train de marchandises, avec en tête une locomotive BR 225 (ex-215) arborant la jolie livrée des années 1970.

A lot of red trains in those times! Luckily a beige/ocean blue brought a bit of variety!

1. Two Talent DMUs (produced from local manufacturer Talbot) of EuregioBahn are heading towards Heerlen in the Netherlands. Nowadays, the "train of the three countries" operated by Arriva NL joins, theoretically, each hour Aachen with Liège (BE) via Heerlen and Maastricht. This service is operated by Flirt EMUs. Alas, regularly, the service is split in two part or even operated by bus due to shortages...

2. An ET 425 EMU coming from Mönchengladbach is nearing its final destination in the main station of Aachen.

3. A venerable Locomotive Class 110 with Silberlinge coaching stock shows the classic regional train on many DB lines then. Nowadays, the RE-service (Regional Express) from Aachen to Dortmund via Mönchengladbach and Düsseldorf is operated by NationalExpress Desiro HC EMus.

4. A freight train headed by a diesel locomotive Class 225 (former 215).
