@martinangler. Thank you for this powerful essay. I have thought a lot about #grief, too. This sentence stuck in my brain: "A loss may become more traumatic when you don’t have a chance to say goodbye." You explain beautifully & painfully the #prolonged grief that accompanies sudden death. My father had early-onset #Alzheimer's & though I had years to say goodbye, I never really did b/c during that time, I forgot he was dying. Again, thank you for this & I am so sorry about your mother & sister.
