Confusing #Ponytails with bangs, so I had already started drawing and had to fix it by adding two braided ponytails which I had grown several years back to donate to a good cause. I was slightly bummed because when I started 25cm was enough, but by the time my had that length the requirement had changed to 30cm. The building across the street that this little girl is looking at was built in 1️⃣8️⃣7️⃣8️⃣. The apartment block is located in the “Zaagpoortbuurt” (literally: ‘sawgate area’). 🪚🚪

Marnixstraat is a main road between two famous squares (Leidseplein and Haarlemmerplein). The street has a mix of old and modern buildings, including some from the 19th century. A great deal of it used to be part of the old city walls. 🏡 🏛️
