Jon SullivanHere are four visitors to our house this week. It's the first time I've seen this wee native moth species, Crypsitricha mesotypa.
I just checked and I'm now up to 101 species, mostly insects, that I've found and photographed inside our house.

I was thinking this evening about how our home, of two working biologists, is not quite a normal home.
Some evidence:
1) Boxes of electronic gadgets on the floor (in this case AudioMoth audio recorders for bird monitoring).
2) Office drawers containing drying pinned moths.
3) *Lots* of recently recharged batteries to drive assorted gadgets, currently lying on our hallway floor.
4) Bookshelves of mostly nonfiction books.
