While I've spent a lot of time contemplating Castrovel's reptilian and amphibian inhabitants, but not much on birdlife. Along with the peafowl-like ~Huau~ - phoenix-fowl - I envision huge habitat opportunities for marshwaders, as depicted here, or also waterfowl. Could there be a version of ducks? This doesn't even touch what may live atop the megadendra trees, far beyond Lashunta reach, or even within the upper sky.

Standard caveats: naturally this pic was not intended to show Lashunta. No antennae or other distinguishing traits. However, it helps fill in details for a Lashunta vision in my head. In this case,

I asked a question last week of how ape-like Lashunta Korasha should look. While I got a wide variety of answers, I realized that I was looking for something that straddled the line between beast and man.

For the record, I think how savage or noble a Korasha looks depends on their own character and how they present themselves. A Korasha living like an outlaw out in the jungle wilderness, letting his locks, beard, and backhair go to seed is a frightening thing. A Korasha living in a city, educated, trained in etiquette, and with some applied body-grooming is a solid, upholding icon of civilization, confidently striding the halls of a Matron's palace or the Psychic Esotericum. It all depends on what we wish the character to be.

In seeking inspiration this time, I returned to the source. For many who see this, this artist needs no introduction, because over a seventy-year career, his works became embedded in our DNA. He had a gift for evoking the primitive within his figures and imbuing them with a dynamic feeling. Frank Frazetta. We shall not see his like again.

The initial example is based of my current character and it's looking decent. I'm not happy with the skill section, but this should get the job done. Still have to figure out how I want the damage to look on weapons. I also need to get spells into the schema, but I'll leave that alone for the time being.
