Children of the Milktrees.
Although treesingers abound as the priestly stewards of the milktrees' welfare, in legend only the greatest become ~lalimyeae~ - birdsingers, who ascend among the highest boughs and take flight with their allies, even reaching Burning-Mother's heavenly palace.

I've often talked about the jungles, including the megadendra giant trees, but another environment possibility, especially with the tropical rainfall Castrovel gets, it wetlands. Marshes, swamps, reed-filled fens stretching as far as the eye can see, and teaming with snakes, frogs, crocodile-eels, and gods only know what kinds of insects!
What kind of creatures would you put into this part of the world?

What is this pic in a lashunta context? The architect most fitting the hooded figure is ~Diaraeas~ - Father-Night - Burning-Mother's enigmatic consort. As the keeper of secrets under his hood and guardian against the Outer Darkness, he is a liminal governor. Therefore, anyone supplicating him for what he knows, as this person (a damaya?) here courts risk.
What of the other creatures here? I've had a long-running debate about how Fey might fight into Castrovel. Maybe they fall under Father-Night's doom as inhabitants of that liminal border between the physical world and the spiritual?
