There is often a dianic romance to portrayals of women within their own company, especially when implying their freedom from male power. Does the same hold true for lashunta females ruling themselves under the Damaya Matriarchy?

Based on an informal survey of my recurring cast of characters in each chapter of _A Castrovel Adventure_, I've confirmed the majority portrayed are damaya females. Although Lady Vaeol my narrator has significant relationships with korasha and males, by sheer occurrences they are the minority. And then the minority ~Rahyathalma~ - male damaya and female korasha - drop off even more from there. It appears I have successfully portrayed the gender-clade bias inherent in my homebrew.

The Lashunta ~Zheieve~ - outriders - have a complex, competitive code of honor as an all-female knightly order. Along with valuing maidenhood - at least starting out (and many Outriders become ~laestimye~ - evermaiden), they exist in the unusual position of potentially needing to fight against friends or even lovers as duty or honor may demand.

Lady Vaeol and Semuane first met by fighting a duel, back in _A Castrovel Adeventure: Part 1_ when Semuane tried to take Brand and the humans. Afterward, Vaeol and her shieldbearer-lover Remaue agreed to woo Semuane in the interest of heading off any future grudge or feud.
