If you walk through a train (or the metro) in Norway, you'll see a lot of - mostly - women knitting. We might not knit as much as the Icelandic people, but we love our wool yarn and our traditional Selbu pattern.
So it is just so perfect that the Norwegian artist Dot Dot Dot use a punk version of it when he created this Johnny Rotten mural bang in the center of Stavanger.

"In my work for Nuart Aberdeen, I portrayed a father with his daughter, the latter perched on his shoulders, reaching for something above, the nature of which remains unknown. This piece is a reflection on education, the transfer of knowledge, and the hope we hold for a brighter future for the next generation, despite the struggles they face.

Without painting as much as I did, I wouldn't be able to do what I'm trying to achieve right now. I guess my biggest advice would be to paint as much as you can. Don't get caught up on this social media thing. Just ignore that stuff. Just have fun with it, but work harder."
