Edward von Lõngus is undoubtedly the most known Estonian street artist. Adding to the mystique of the artist's character is the fact that he never reveals his face, and according to him, he doesn't physically exist. He is a collectively shared theoretical concept, a reflection of the era of multiple identities in the information field generated by the oscillations of collective consciousness.

Lõngus enjoys playing with cultural codes, and each of his works is loaded with topical sharp messages. He astonished the public as an illegal street artist supported by the state, touring Europe for 2 years (2017-2018) as part of the EV100 project for Estonia's 100th birthday .

"In the middle of the noughties, there came an important cultural shift in Estonia, which no one realized at the time. The availability of cheap flights opened the world to Estonia in a way that hadn't been possible before. Hordes of young people flew out to discover the world. On one such journey, a group of fellow-minded individuals and myself found ourselves in Berlin where we saw and experienced so much street art and alternative culture to touch us for life. Upon returning home, we tried to spread all of this awesomeness here."

"Jacoba’s work is grounded in her belief that connectedness facilitates a better understanding of self and others and is a powerful tool to address and change social issues.

Jacoba's mural reflects the theme of connectedness, showing three naked intertwining bodies yearning for connection. Clothes and face masks are non-existent, resulting in an ultimate physical touch, liberated finally after the constraints of the last few years. "My first interest in art was my childhood books that my mom bought me, as a literature teacher, she made sure of buying good literature books for kids that usually came with the best illustrations. At the same my father started painting as a hobby when I was a kid and I’d usually painted next to him.

I started as a muralist following the steps of some muralists that painted in my neighborhood. I occasionally use a spray can for sketching, but my main weapons are the brush and roller.

"For Nuart Aberdeen 2019 Axel created a double wall feature on two buildings at the same location. When Axel arrived in Aberdeen he explored and got a feel for the city and it's people. "During the early 2000’s, tags and stencils started appearing in Aberdeen city centre and down numerous back alleys: a policewoman, DJ and bag piper all painted in the same vein as Banksy’s early work. These pieces were created by stencil artist Elki, with the now infamous bag piper on Jopps Lane one of the longest standing pieces of street art in The Granite City.

It seemed only right to invite ELKI back to add something new to the wall where his piper is now joined by a kilted Jaune character. For his new piece you can see the clear evolution in ELKIs style and skill, opting to create a large-scale piece of headphones on a set of technics turntables. The image is a tribute to his clubbing days in Aberdeen and a nod to the underground club cultures that exist in the city. Hundreds of hours went into the cutting of the stencils to create the incredibly detailed final image which you can find on Jopps Lane beside the big Fintan Magee mural.." https://www.aberdeeninspired.com/murals/elki-2018
