We have an older customer who doesn't know much about computers. He has been using #LinuxDesktop OS for over 10 years now. For the last 6 years he has been using #ManjaroLinux and very much loves it. The hardware he is using is over 8 years old.
Has anyone managed to get Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 running on Manjaro?
Tried a few things with Wine/Proton but no success so far. Any tips or experiences would be much appreciated!

Correct Missing something?
I've been thinking about switching my old Surface Laptop 3 over to Linux, but I don't know which distribution to choose. I mainly use my laptop for web browsing, email, and some coding through Visual Studio code. I can work with a Terminal, but I would rather not if I don't have to. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. #Linux
Can anyone explain the appeal of #ManjaroLinux to me? As far as I can tell, it's an at-best mid Arch based distro that has some okay theming and occasionally DDoSes the AUR.
Yes, I've used it. Endeavor is better in literally every way. So are a few other Arch based options like Garuda, along with Fedora (for cutting edge) and Debian (by a mile for stability).
So… why is it one of the biggest distros out there? What's the appeal?
Manjaro ist ja recht aktuell, aber bei Software wie #OBS Studio und #Kdenlive kommen mir Updates trotzdem manchmal zu spät. Mit dem Wechsel auf #Testing hat das ein Ende. Jetzt hab ich auch das #Manjaro auf dem Gaming-PC auf den Testing-Branch umgestellt.
Also #ManjaroLinux läuft hier bei mir in der KDE-Version mega instabil. Ich kann den Rechner keinen Tag laufenlassen, ohne dass die Kontrolleiste abstürzt. Einfach weg. Umschalten zwischen Programmen nicht mehr möglich. Mit
sudo systemctl restart sddm
kann ich das wohl wieder neu starten, aber die laufenden Programme werden dabei beendet mit entsprechendem Datenverlust. Sehr nervig das ganze. Updates brachten bisher keine Besserung. Desktopstabilität echt mangelhaft. Netzsuche hat außer dem genannten Befehl auch nix gebracht.
