die Linux Göttinnen sind heute (eigentlich immer) gegen mich. will #antiX installierten, dessen installer kann keine Verschlüsselung also mach ich auf Kommandozeile. aber antix kann kein pvcreate und kein vgcreate und kennt sich die Pakete nicht.

I am exploring #gopher and #geminiprotocol right now, trying to rediscover what I loved about the internet in the early nineties. I have also been using a potato of a 64 bit computer running #antix for my exploration. It's still amazing what you can find without sharing information. Archive.org and Project Gutenberg are wonderful and amazing.

This was my original impulse for discovering #slackware in the late nineties. The old internet quietly exists for those who are still interested and care.

New video day! I've been spending some time with the Sony Vaio VGN-TX3XP. a 20-year-old carbon fiber ultra-portable that still puts some modern "thin and lights" to shame.

I tried modern 32-bit Linux (#antix), but ultimately decided to return it to its Windows XP glory.
