I really need to do some cable management on my home office desk. My KVM and laptop docking station are a mess of cabling I don't really want visible but without a little desk modification (appearances aside my desk is a cheep plywood/mdf repo I've already chopped apart adapted as my PC case)

Thinking a little shelf area at the back under the table top then bring the cables up through the stationary/correspondence unit (acting as monitor stand) bolted to the back.

More woodworking DIY needed.

I finally bit the bullet and got rid of the last in a long line of cheap plasticy keyboards. You know the cheap sub £20 offerings.

Instead I've bought myself a CHERRY KC 200 MX mechanical keyboard and opted for the silent red switches. I considered the brown switches but my hearing is super sensitive and although they're quiet they were still a bit too clicky for me. The red switches set are fairly quiet with a tolerable click.

Oh, but the typing experience!! Absolute joy.

I took a lid from jewel box that matched the oak frame dimensions to complete the casing. It's a wooden tablet! Also downgraded to #RaspberryPi Zero 2 W so plenty of room inside. Still, a full-blown #ARM64 #Linux.

It will run dashboard w/#GNU Screen or Lynx etc. to show e.g. #teletext spotprices, weather etc. or random #ANSIart.

I have been tinkering with #AnimateDiff trying to get away from 32-frame movie to unlimited movie length using just home computer GPU.

It's doable. But getting transitions smooth between different shots is tough. But at least it's possible to retain the overall "concept" during the whole movie.

Below example is with stock #StableDiffusion 1.5 & motion module (no LoRA, no fine-tune) with just a static text prompt.
