Does anyone have resources regarding the art and science of #FreeBSD #ARM64 kernel configuration? It is split across many files and appears to be quite fragile.

I tried unifying the many options/devices into a single “GENERIC” file but that did not work, and removing items is explosive.

I would like to have a meaningful #OccamBSD ARM64 build but it’s kicking my butt.

TIL #FreeBSD does not support GPU device on #arm64. At least, not on my #ROCKPro64 card. Unless the web pages I found are wrong.

That just impacts transcoding here so no big deal. But it might be a bit more troublesome for ones who wanted to build a desktop out of it.

But... it has Linux emulation support.
Which means I can drop penguins farts in ARM jails.
