When I bought my 2 Crepe Myrtle’s & the little Bay tree, there was a small addition in the Bay tree pot & decided to leave it there when I put the Bay tree into its big pot & wait to see what happened. I thought it wouldn’t be anything much, probably a weed. I teased it out the other day & put it into its own pot as I think it’s Tarragon. Free herb for me if I’m right & I think I am. #Garden #Herbs

Once again, I am holding fresh plant matter that I grew for 10 yrs before the entire tree fell over in a bad storm, and every "recipe" to use it starts with an already extracted, processed product. 😥 I don't have the type of life where I get any head starts with a machine extracted oil. I *am* the machine that will be extracting from this actual plant, with very low tech, and I just want to use some of this fresh melaleuca (tea tree) I spent 10 yrs having an entire relationship with. I planted it for a reason. 😞 It was basically a family member. I guess I'll throw it in a jar or 10 of olive oil and hope for the best. #herbs #herbal #plantmedicine
