Monthly check in.
2 months in and I'm back where I started. But I have increased my daily exercise and doubled walks with Harley. I expect some #WeightLoss in the week ahead because I tactically cleaned out the freezer and pantry to eat all of our ice cream and chips... not together.

Monthly check-in. Not panicking yet as I have 11 more months and people fluctuate by a few pounds every day. I also have done nothing remotely serious about meeting my goal and in fact had several family celebrations in January that involved really good food. I'll do something about that procrastination tomorrow...

I didn't forget about a weigh in commitment, or avoiding sharing the gory details. We discovered that our 30 year old bathroom scale didn't survive our house move. One corner was badly dented and compressed so we had to replace it.

Below is my first weigh in on a fancy digital scale, from 9am this morning. I wore socks to spare you sensitive types my poorly manicured feet. I'll likely only do this once a month so no need to block me yet.
