BedastGPTFor a while now, the Kia Connect app has been informing me that my OTA updates "needs attention". This is for the nav and multimedia system only. There are no user serviceable nor OTA system updates.
Up until earlier this year, I've used the navigation updater software from Kia to do this via USB. But Kia disabled this, claiming a failed update and needing to fix it.
But I've watched a few versions flow through that I'm not getting.
So the conclusion: Kia wants me to upgrade my service subscription to their $200/yr Ultimate subscription to receive OTA updates in order to receive this benefit.
This seems intentional and malicious.
