So far you've shown in your actions, both for those with #MobilityImpairments on Captchas and for #blind users a screenreader issue, that your platform is not at all about #DigitalIndependence or real change, unless you've got neither disability set nor anyone you communicate with does.
#DisabledPeople are the subset of the population most denied our independence and yet which is most easily helped by modern technology, so this slight on your part is a continuation of the larger problem set, not a legitimate change to the status quo.

@sb If we can't use touchscreen phones & must use phones, then yes we "must submit ourselves to surveillance capitalism" because so far the options that exist for hardware aren't at all diverse enough for the needs of #DisabledPeople.
And while in theory no one "must use phone" the consequences for not doing so aren't insignificant.
@xgranade adding to your list-- diversity of hardware designs that put computers on the cusp of being accessible to all groups of #DisabledPeople & allow said societal integration by around 1995-2005 is also gone, in the service of LLMs/AIs. Modern technology overall was supposed to be the thing that would reverse the absence of privacy that disabled people have pretty much always had to sacrifice in the past to get help, but instead what's now happened is that ableds have lost their privacy.
