I have no idea why, but for some reason, the netinst ISO for Debian 9.3 that I'm still seeding, is still being downloaded.

Je compte là en ce moment ici : #debian9 (Gnome) #debian10 (Xfce), #emmabuntüs (base Debian Xfce), 5 #Xubuntu (12.04, 2x14.04, 18.04, 20.04), 2 #AntiX, #Manjaro #raspbian #armbian 2 #Mageia (5 et 7), #LinageOS, #FairphoneOpen, mais aussi :
2 Androïd-Google et 2 Window$ (fils et pro).

Mais j'ai des machines test qui vont partir, du multi-boot et on est 3.

D'ici fin 2020, le Window$ pro va s'en aller, au moins un android-google, et peut-être le win du fils et son android Google...

@tobomir Warum #SteamOS? Um das ganze Projekt von Valve ist es verdächtig still geworden, die Herstellung von Steam-Link, -Machines und -Controllern ist eingestellt worden. Das letzte Update ist schon ein Weilchen her, die Graka-Treiber sind veraltet und die Basis ist das recht angestaubte #Debian9. Auch gibt es irgendwie keine nennenswerten Vorteile gegenüber anderen, verbreiteten #Linux-Distributionen. Ich glaube nicht, dass da noch viel kommt.

 Debian 10 »Buster« und Wayland

Die Veröffentlichung von Debian 10 »Buster« steht in den nächsten Wochen oder Monaten bevor. Als Standard-Desktop kommt wie gehabt GNOME 3 zum Zug. Anders als bei Debian 9 »Stretch« soll dabei Wayland anstatt Xorg als Voreinstellung für das Display-Protokoll dienen.

So the other day I installed the #Rust #programming #language and tools in a local, virigin copy of the #Debian9 distribution. Despite the introduction documentation claiming ease of use, this immediately failed to compile my hello_world.rs. Why? Because a virgin distribution of Debian9 does not include a package named "build-essential". Add that, first. Oh, and to install Rust, you must first add curl.

I'm looking for an easy way to manage a reverse proxy. I know how I can do it with nginx by myself, manually. But I'm tiered using the terminal all the time.

An important thing to avoid when using Ubuntu or Debian: using the wrong repositories in /etc/apt/sources.list for your version of Debian or Ubuntu. I just installed Debian Stretch, but set up it up using Debian Jessie repositories accidentally. 😜 #debian #debianstretch #debian9
