Es ist so wertvoll zu sehen, wie viele von uns nach mehr digitaler Souveränität suchen.Heute möchte ich den Faden weiterspinnen und einen Blick auf Ubuntu Linux LTS werfen – für mich ein Fels in der Brandung, wenn es um Stabilität geht. Aber wie sieht es eigentlich mit der Kommunikation aus? Es vereint Datenbank, Authentifizierung und Dateispeicherung in einer einzigen Datei. Xubuntu 26.04 LTS (beta) - Installation with FDE failed. The preconfigured encrypted setup option, failed with Python arguments errors. And manually configured and partitioned setup failed, because it did not detect device mapped root correctly -> not possible to install on it. Let’s hope the final version fixes these both annoying issues. I did update the installer with latest version just before running the install, so the image had even older installer, which I didn’t use. #Xubuntu #LTS #LUKS2 #FDE #fail #installation #Linux

@ubuntu it is pretty crazy that a 3-month-old #Noble #LTS bug that creates a kernel panic at boot time for so many people (all people with #VirtualBox installed) is not yet corrected.

The #kernelpanic cannot be understood by common users (the update fails with an incomprehensible message, and sets in grub the faulty kernel as default boot for the next reboot).
