I can recommend @ubuntu / #UbuntuLTS, but #Debian and @opensuse / #OpenSUSE may fit your needs even better...

@reiddragon @marado yeah but just like having not been to driving school in 25+ years isn't an excuse to ignore new signs (i.e. parking only for EVs whilst charging), same goes for tech.

Espechally "#TechIlliterates" are best served with an #LTS version of #Linux where, aside from occasional #Backups, it's basically a 4 year "install and forget" service cycle with like @ubuntu / #UbuntuLTS...

I hope #Arch manages to keep the 6.12 #LTS kernel branch along with 6.18 #LTS branch in the main repo and not push it out into AUR. Maybe the 6.12 #LTS kernel branch is shifted to the extra repo of Arch while 6.18 #LTS kernel branch is kept in the main repo branch.
